A member of the bar since 1985, Daniel M. Baker joined Benjamin Dash and Timothy Farrow to form Dash Baker Farrow, LLP in August of 2008. The firm has offices in Moorestown, New Jersey and Philadelphia, PA.

Before forming this firm, Dan was a partner in the Moorestown, New Jersey and Philadelphia law firm of Barron, Baker & Posternock, LLP, the managing attorney for the New Jersey office of the Philadelphia law firm of Spector, Gadon & Rosen, where he oversaw the firm's New Jersey transactional work, a partner in the New Jersey firm of Matteo, Belko, Baker & Hinlicky and the firm of Cahill, Wilinski & Cahill. His practice focuses on bank and other lending transactions, commercial litigation, creditor's rights, real estate, commercial and business transactions, liquor license transactions and issues and title litigation.

Dan is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Federal District Courts for New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is a former chair of the Corporate, Banking and Business Committee of the Camden County Bar Association, a member of its Commercial Debtor/Creditor Committee, the Burlington County, Camden County and New Jersey State Bar Associations. He also sits on the Economic Development Committee of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce. He is a frequent lecturer to business, trade and professional groups on topics including banking, small businesses, shareholder protection, real estate and creditor's rights.

Dan has also been honored by being selected by his peers as a New Jersey Super Lawyer.

Dan has twice been honored as Volunteer of the Year for the Southern Jersey Region of the American Diabetes Association. He is a Director of the Camden Eye Center and a founding member of the Mt. Laurel Student Mentoring Program. He is also a panelist for both Pennsylvania Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

A native of Cape May County, Dan received a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He obtained his law degree from the Delaware Law School at Widener University in 1985. He is also a columnist for the print publication Tar Heel Monthly, where he writes on college basketball recruiting, and for the independent print and internet publication, Inside Carolina, where he writes both editorials and analysis on UNC sports.
